Dave Bates is a seasoned guitarist and music producer whose career spans over four decades, leaving an indelible mark on the rock and metal scenes.

Throughout his extensive career, Bates has collaborated with numerous renowned artists. He has toured and recorded with Robin McAuley (MSG, Survivor), Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ring of Fire), Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Ringo Starr), Tony Franklin (The Firm, Blue Murder), and Bjorn Englen (Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine) . His versatility and technical prowess have made him a sought-after guitarist in the industry. 

Bates also contributed his talents as a staff guitarist on television shows such as Warner Brothers’ “Zoe,” CBS’s “The Whitey Ford Show,” and the cable program “Drum TV” . His instrumental track “I Come In Peace” was featured on the Musicians Institute’s promotional CD “MI JAMS Vol.2”

Bates co founded the band Edge of Paradise and has toured extensively with bands like DragonForce, Lacuna Coil, and Firewind.

Bates just released his solo instrumental, “Electric” and has several other songs in production. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife model/actress Dawn Rochelle Bates.
